About this event
Dear Community Members,
The holiday season is a time for joy, magic, and cherished memories. With this spirit in mind, Center for Independence is thrilled to invite you and your family to a very special event: Signing Santa !
We believe every child deserves a chance to share their holiday wishes with Santa. This event is designed to create a welcoming and inclusive experience for children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing and use sign language to communicate. Come and watch your child's face light up as they have a fun and meaningful conversation with a Santa who can sign right back!
Please join us for an afternoon of festive fun:
Date: Saturday, December 5th, 2026
Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: Center for Independence
740 Gunnison Avenue, Grand Junction, Co. 81501
Alongside the opportunity to meet Santa, we will have complimentary snacks, warm hot chocolate, and fun holiday activities for our little kiddos to enjoy.
This event is open to all who wish to celebrate in an inclusive and joyful environment. We look forward to sharing a magical afternoon with you and your family.
Warmly,
The Team at Center for Independence
