- ➤ A new study released January 19 shows agriculture supports nearly 5% of jobs by generating $720 million for Mesa, Delta, Montrose, Garfield and Rio Blanco counties. - ➤ Colorado School of Mines will offer the nation's first bachelor's degree in Quantum Systems Engineering starting this fall at its Grand Junction campus; officials say the program bridges a critical workforce gap + prepares graduates for quantum technology careers. KJCT

- ➤ CDOT announced that construction for the US 6 Palisade Intersection Improvements Project is delayed to Monday, Jan.26 due to extended utility work. The project will update intersections and sidewalks from Rupp to Iowa Avenues to improve safety, with work scheduled on weekdays (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.). KJCT
