- ➤ Grand Rivers Humane Society is showcasing Alfred, a six-year-old pit bull looking for his forever home, at Chow Down in the Redlands on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Alfred is housebroken, well-trained, and thrives on affection but needs lifetime eye care. KKCO 11
- ➤ Alfred, a six-year-old pit bull with limited night vision needing ongoing eye care, is available for adoption through Grand Rivers Humane Society. He will debut at Chow Down in the Redlands on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. + potential adopters can meet him there. KJCT
- ➤ The Grand Junction Lions Club will host its 97th annual Raffle, Carnival and Parade on Saturday, Feb. 21 starting at 2 p.m. The parade runs from 7th Street to the Convention Center and proceeds will fund $120,000 in grant donations to local nonprofits. KJCT

- ➤ The Drought Response Information Project is partnering with Resource Central to offer discounted, drought-resistant garden kits to water customers in Grand Junction, Clifton Water District, and Ute Water Conservancy District.
