- ➤ City Council approved a CMU lease at Lincoln Park to build a football facility while preserving public access to the Lincoln Park Barn — following years of discussions between CMU, the city and community, the deal will also save the city over $300,000 annually in maintenance costs. KKCO 11
- ➤ On March 3, Mesa County appointed Ryan Surad as pest inspector for the Upper Grand Valley Pest Control District to protect local orchards and crops. He will inspect for pests and advise property owners on management plans as development nears farmlands — a move to safeguard agriculture. Mesa County
