- ➤ On Tuesday night, the Mesa County Central Library hosted the State of Homelessness Summit where residents asked a nonprofit panel about solutions for the unhoused—attendees received yellow papers urging them to email city council about delaying the closure of the resource center at 261 Ute Avenue. - ➤ A fifth-wheel trailer caught fire early Wednesday at 6 a.m. on 20 1/2 Road in Fruita—firefighters quickly put out the blaze before it threatened nearby homes, and the Fruita Police Department pulled a man from the burning structure—no injuries were reported. WesternSlopeNow.com

- ➤ The 4th Annual Maverick Classic Beer Fest returns to downtown Grand Junction on March 29-30 where the Colorado Mesa University Cycling Team will race while local breweries serve unlimited sips with a $40 fee for beer fest entry. - ➤ The Colorado Supreme Court ruled Monday that attorney Igor Raykin will be publicly censured after he made many rude comments at a Mesa County Valley School District 51 meeting on May 18, 2022.
