Grand Junction City Council members Anna Stout, Abe Herman, Randall Reitz, Scott Beilfuss and Jason Nguyen signed a letter urging federal leaders to fully fund and protect public lands — vital for recreation and wildlife — as part of a group of over 300 local officials across the West. The letter, sent by The Mountain Pact, opposes any sale of these lands and changes to the Antiquities Act while stressing their economic and cultural value.
