- ➤ Logan Franks reopened his bike repair shop at 1025 Main after a Molotov cocktail fire damaged the original location last summer, and he overcame a broken ankle with help from neighbors—he plans community rides on Monday nights and monthly skateboard events for kids. - ➤ Palisade Pizza and Pourhouse in Grand Junction opened an outdoor deck and five acres of dining space a few weeks ago and will soon offer blankets for picnics—plans include bounce houses, a disc golf course, and a playground— as warmer weather draws more visitors. KJCT

- ➤ Grand Junction City Council members Anna Stout, Abe Herman, Randall Reitz, Scott Beilfuss and Jason Nguyen signed a letter urging federal leaders to fully fund and protect public lands — vital for recreation and wildlife — as part of a group of over 300 local officials across the West.
