- ➤ City crews in Grand Junction are wrapping up winter landscaping at Watson Island disc golf course today after enhancing paths and adding a pond for spring irrigation (costing about $5,000) as volunteers plan plantings on April 18 and winter bridge repairs are set to follow. - ➤ Negotiations broke down when the museum set a March 20 deadline, forcing the long-time model railroad club to leave Cross Orchards after decades of rent-free access for its annual Christmas show.
