Delta-Montrose Electric Association and Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association joined the Southwest Power Pool, a nonprofit managing electricity flow on a multi-state grid to boost reliability + access to diverse energy sources.

Their membership expands the pool's reach across seven states, though near-term costs will rise to meet new requirements.
