- ➤ 318 Truth in Action Ministries from Cedaredge received many home repair requests, especially from Grand Junction, and is now seeking volunteers. The group is starting work by building a wheelchair ramp in Delta — and asks local churches and businesses to help. KJCT
- ➤ The Veterans Memorial Cemetery was presented with a national award Tuesday morning for meeting storied operation standards and serving nearly 7,000 veterans and family members. - ➤ Sonar, an active eight-year-old blind cattle dog, seeks a stable home as the Roice-Hurst Humane Society says she thrives on routine and older children. - ➤ The Eureka McConnell Science Museum launched Insect Week Monday with displays of butterflies, mosquitoes, cockroaches, and a furry tarantula named Houdini (a graduation gift) to show the importance of insects. - ➤ The Workforce Center is hosting a resume workshop from 10 to 11 a.m. this Thursday to help job seekers prepare for the Western Colorado Job Fair. Attendees will learn to refine their resumes using the Resume Builder tool and expert tips from workforce professionals. Mesa County
- ➤ Mesa County Animal Services and School District 51, along with volunteers, launched Mindful Mutts to train shelter dogs and build hands-on animal care skills among students today. The program uses force-free methods to boost confidence in dogs and help students gain practical experience in animal care. Mesa County

- ➤ The state of Colorado is seeking community help to locate a Native American cemetery from the former Grand Junction Indian School site.
