Center for Children is hosting Seeds of Support, a fundraiser to raise money for child-abuse survivor services in Mesa County, on April 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Grand Junction Elks Lodge—speakers, dinner by The Cowboy and the Rose and a silent auction will support vital services for affected children.

Bruin Waste Management will launch a recycling division in the Grand Valley on a 10.5-acre site at 365 32 Road, with support from Gov. Jared Polis announced Tuesday.

The planned facility will create about 30 jobs and use advanced sortation technology to cut transportation costs and boost recycling rates in the region—helping meet local sustainability goals.

Starting April 12th, Grand Junction residents can request two free tree seedlings delivered to their homes as part of Arbor Day, with the first 200 requests receiving delivery.

The City of Grand Junction will begin the 25 Road expansion this fall — a project that takes one-third of Ginny and James Sanville's property at 625 25 Road, which they bought in June 2021 without knowing about the road widening.
