On April 17th around 8:10 a.m., officers detained a student at Grand Junction High School after the student carried a knife and threatened to kill someone, and the student was then taken to the Division of Youth Services on charges of Felony Menacing, Unlawfully Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Weapon Possession on School Grounds (no injuries were reported and there is no ongoing threat).
