  • On Thursday morning, April 16 at Mesa County Fairgrounds, the Exceptional Rodeo paired School District 51 special education students with members of the CMU rodeo team for hands-on roping and animal interactions.   • The Grand Junction Main Post Office (241 N. Fourth St.) is hosting a Passport Fair on Saturday, April 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome and passport photo services cost $15 on site.  Grand Junction Daily Sentinel
  • The Club 20 Spring Conference held Saturday at the Grand Junction Convention Center featured U.S. Rep. Jeff Hurd and other officials discussing energy, water and wildfire concerns, as well as federal steps to address drought-related challenges.  Grand Junction Daily Sentinel

  • The Western Colorado Hearing Clinic expanded into Glenwood Springs at 218 Center Dr. The clinic offers $500 off premium hearing aids through May 29 and builds on its Grand Junction base (established 2012).  Grand Junction Daily Sentinel
  • Dan Wegelin was seriously injured after a cow struck him during trail work at Confluence Park in Delta. After two weeks in intensive care and ongoing physical therapy, he is shifting to a bike-centered career by enrolling in a certification course and adaptive trail-building classes.  Grand Junction Daily Sentinel
