ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A car and motorcycle collided near Mesa Mall at the intersection of Patterson Road and North Mesa Mall Access Road, and one patient was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries—eastbound Patterson is closed and traffic is being diverted on Market Street. WesternSlopeNow.com
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a road rage incident Friday morning near Riverside Parkway and Riverfront Drive after a single shot was fired—no injuries or arrests were reported and the investigation remains ongoing. KJCT
- ➤ Deputies with the Mesa County Sheriff's Office arrested a Whitewater man in Grand Junction on May 8—he allegedly attempted to stab and strangle a victim on May 4 at the 300 block of Redlands Road while the victim was on the property with the homeowner's permission. KJCT

- ➤ Grand Junction Regional Airport reported that since REAL ID requirements began on April 7, over 95 percent of travelers have shown compliant IDs and only a few have faced extra screening, which takes less than five minutes.
