Good morning, Grand Junction.

Grand Junction police are working to ensure security and community engagement at the JUCO World Series at Suplizio Field today—officers also advise fans to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and plan ahead for the heat.

At the JUCO World Series, the Miami-Dade Sharks — featuring 13 players from six countries — are showing how baseball unites diverse cultures through shared communication.

The team says building trust on the field has turned differences into a strength.

On Saturday, the JUCO World Series (played at Suplizio Field) saw Walters State win with a decisive walk off run against Seminole State, Johnson County beat Harford 19 to 2, Blinn Buccaneers triumph over Salt Lake Bruins by run rule, and Wabash edged Midland 11 to 6.
