Nonprofit organizations in Mesa County can apply for substance use grants from the Brownson Memorial Fund starting Monday, Jun.

1; applications will be accepted until Jun. 26. The fund, managed by the Western Colorado Community Foundation, has awarded over $532,000 since 1985 to support prevention and recovery services.
