ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Grand Junction police responded to a moped versus vehicle crash on June 1 at 3:30 p.m. at North Avenue and 28 1/4 Road— the moped driver ran a red light, collided with a truck, and was taken to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. KJCT

- ➤ Jennies Playhouse reopened on March 25 to offer a safe indoor play space for kids and a spot for parents to relax—using wristbands and a gated entrance to keep children secure. KKCO 11
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ On May 10th, a man and a woman allegedly stole over $4,300 in products from Ulta Beauty in Grand Junction when the woman concealed items in a large bag and the pair left in a small silver sedan shortly before 5:00 p.m.—Crime Stoppers is asking the public to help identify the suspects. KJCT
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Reconstruction of I-70 Business Loop between Main Street and Third is on schedule and is expected to finish in late fall while CDOT installs storm drainage, water main and street lighting with detour routes for local businesses; CDOT said the former GJ Auto Sales building will be demolished in September as plans for a mobility hub progress.
