- ➤ Mesa County property owners who own their property free and clear can now escrow their monthly property tax payments using a secure, cloud-based service—EscrowTaxes—with fees of $1 per e-check or 2.5% per credit/debit card transaction; the program allows both residential and business owners to make equal monthly prepayments, though tax bills arriving in January may be higher due to a reappraisal year and sunset of tax relief measures.
