- ➤ The City of Grand Junction will begin its annual leaf removal program on October 20 after residents said collection started too early, and the service will run through December 11. - ➤ Child Welfare Supervisor Laura Kinson represented Mesa County at the Kin‑First Culture Convening in Seattle where she joined a six‑person Colorado team and kinship families to share lessons learned from the county’s leadership in kinship care.
