- ➤ The She Has a Name craft fair marks its 10th anniversary today at the Heart of Grand Junction, featuring 15 vendors and extra booths whose proceeds fund girls in Kenya’s education and essentials (formed from a local quilting group). - ➤ Grand Junction engineers at Spirit Engineering designed the new Spirit SE-1 light-sport aircraft for affordable flying. The plane, which debuted this summer at the Oshkosh airshow, has low operating costs, flies over the Rockies, and is priced at $69,500. KKCO 11

- ➤ Western Colorado Botanical Gardens has brought back its blue light display holiday tradition to honor Marc Cadez and support STRiVE programs for people with developmental disabilities.
