- ➤ Cadets at the Technical College of the Rockies held their first memorial run on Dec. 6 to honor fallen Deputy Derek Geer (a TCR graduate who died in Feb. 2016) by running a 2.5-mile route from the Delta County Sheriff’s Office to the Delta Police Department, with his family present. KKCO 11
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A District 51 bus carrying Central High School wrestlers was involved in a traffic accident in the Denver area this evening following a wrestling tournament; emergency responders quickly assisted the students and coaches as they were taken to hospitals — families were notified. KJCT

- ➤ Cadets at the Technical College of the Rockies ran a 2.5-mile memorial on December 6 to honor fallen Deputy Derek Geer, an alumnus killed in 2016. The route from the Delta County Sheriff’s Office to the Delta Police Department united his family — establishing a new tribute tradition. KJCT
