- ➤ The Grand Junction Police Department partnered with Toys for Tots on December 7 outside Target at Mesa Mall for its annual Stuff the Bearcat toy drive. Community members dropped off new, unwrapped toys that will be distributed to local children later this week. KJCT
- ➤ Mesa County Search and Rescue is transitioning from its summer season to winter operations as temperatures drop in Grand Valley and snow falls on Grand Mesa. - ➤ The Colorado 150 Organizing Committee is planning a year-long series of local events to celebrate the state’s 150th anniversary in 2026 and ensure community history stays local (with grant funding and inclusion opportunities available) as they coordinate between state and local organizers.
