- ➤ Local startup CMBulbs (co-founded by CMU freshmen Jackson Amerine and Jayden Dirksen) gained momentum during the holiday season by installing affordable LED lighting for outdoor displays in the Grand Valley after completing its first project on Nov. 6; the founders plan to expand the business. - ➤ Colorado Parks and Wildlife captured a yearling gray wolf (a member of the Copper Creek pack) in New Mexico on Thursday and re-released it in Grand County as part of a multistate agreement to protect the Mexican wolf recovery program. Grand Junction Daily Sentinel

- ➤ Palisade High's Teagan Young won the wrestling title at the Western Slope Showdown in Montrose on Saturday after defeating Bronson Hall 22 to 5 in a technical fall (her only District 51 victory among 41 teams).
